I met a really hot girl at a bar last night and we got to talking. Turns out she was super cool too! Its pretty rare that I like someone. Then, she says will you join me outside for a minute I think, sure, she wants to have a more intimate conversation (or perhaps more). We get outside and she sparks up a cigarette! I love this girl, but I hate smokers. I got her number, should I call her? – Sean

Well, if she is hot and really cool, then she may be worth pursuing regardless of the fact that she smokes. While it’s usually not a good idea to try and change someone because of your own preferences, if you hit it off she may actually be willing to quit smoking eventually. While the chances are extremely slim shes going to quit straight off the bat, it could be worth you trying to be a little tolerant, especially if she is in fact as awesome as you say. Give it a go, you may get lucky and she may be willing to change her ways for you, and her own health eventually. Call her – be the change she has been looking for.
