By what mode Should A Single Dad With Watch And No Involvement Start

Have youu or anyone you know had a good experience with online dating? I would liie to kknow what people have actuall experienced.
I question whether you could actually meet someone decent and normal online. Ive seen the paid spokespeople and have heard of their wonderful new love. Ive also heard too often of the tragic tales of predators and too trusting individuals ending up as a CSI victim.
I guess I wonder what the average or have experienced, or is everyone as sceptical of this as I am.
